Kate Staaf is a Los Angeles–based watercolor artist originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has been exploring and experimenting with creative pursuits since she was a child. For Kate, creating is less a choice and more a compulsion—a quiet pull that demands attention. Her work weaves together themes of growth, solitude, peace, and play, reflecting the ebbs and flows of human life. She is devoted to expanding her technical and conceptual practice, and considers herself and her art as continually growing and evolving.
